“Vidumini” Skills Development Endeavour is a joint project of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences aimed and the External Degrees and Extension Courses Unit (EDECU) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. It is the main component of the “Skills and Employability Enhancing Programme for the External Graduates of the FHSS (SEEPEG)” of the EDECU.

The project is broadly to improving creative skills, and employability and entrepreneurial skills of the BA (External) graduates of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (FHSS-USJ). The programme will provide various avenues for the external undergraduates to improve on various skill areas aligned with graduate employability.

Main Objectives

1. Creating  equal opportunities for the external graduates for their skills development on a par with those available for the internal graduates of the FHSS-USJ

2. Enhancing the employability of the external graduates of the FHSS-USJ.
